This is a leading international kindergarten in Beijing. The school is now looking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational principal who shares their high expectations and who has exceptional drive, creativity and tenacity to lead the school on its successful journey. The position starts immediately.
Administrative Duties
*Promote a smoothly running campus by managing all teachers to ensure they are organized and up-to-date
*Order appropriate educational supplies and materials for your campus in collaboration with teachers’ needs or requests
*Cooperate with the Regional Academic Supervisor to plan and coordinate the curriculum through collaboration with other staff members
*Manage your campus budget
*Work together with the International Relationship & Recruitment Manager in providing administrative support to the English Specialists on campus
*Assist in the recruitment process of English teachers when necessary
*Make recommendations in hiring, retaining, or releasing of teachers
*Cooperate with other members of the Academic Committee in developing programs
Promotion of the school and Contribution to Wider School Activities
*Promote the school, its mission statement, and educational philosophies
*Take an active role to promote the business interests of our kindergartens
*Assist in the organization of and promote attendance at school community activities
Academic Supervision & Support
*Remain up-to-date on the current trends and developments in education for children ages two to six years old
*Maintain the constant training and development of yourself and of the staff that you work with
*Monitor and periodically evaluate all teacher performances in line with School Performance Management Professional Standards
*Provide opportunities for all staff members to share their ideas and program developments
*Identify professional development needs of all staff members and request/provide
appropriate training
*Participate in and help develop orientation programs for all staff members and yourself
Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Education Administration
*Master’s Degree or above preferred
*At least 2 years of Education Management experience
*With early childhood education experience & Classroom/teaching experience
*Montessori experience (preferred, but not required)
Benefits:
*30000RMB-40000RMB per month depending on your qualifications and working experience
*Work visa is provided
*Full Medical Insurance (No co-payment)
*Chinese and (some) Western holidays provided
*Annual travel bonus up to 10,000 RMB, further bonuses available with longer
contracts
*Housing allowance is already included in salary (around 6000 RMB)
Working schedule:
*Monday to Friday 9:00am – 6:00pm (1 hour lunch break), as well as some weekends
*Notice will be given in advance for weekend activities of meetings
