You may not have heard about this city before, but Chongqing is a relatively unknown colossal city in the world; A total population of just under 29 million residents puts Chongqing next to Tokyo in the world's largest populations and Find Work Abroad are delighted to offer this excellent opportunity to you.

Located near the center of China, Chongqing enjoys an excellent climate and is bursting with culture. Chongqing features a pleasant mix of modern bustling cosmopolitan city life with abundant traditional Chinese culture. You'll notice a pleasant difference between recently built cities such as Shenzhen and are sure to settle in to Chongqing very quickly.

This truly great opportunity offers a standard teaching package where you will be required to teach 25 hours per week and 15 office hours; You will work weekends, however you'll have the benefit of 2 days off every week during the week. In addition you'll be free most mornings to take on additional part time work should this be of interest.

Our opportunity is with an established well-known training center of which is fully licensed by the Chinese government to hire foreign teachers and process working (Z) visas for you.

The students are aged 14-45 years old and you'll have a mix of classes grouped based on age and ability. Your teaching schedule will be based in the main school- You are rarely required to commute for classes.

Accommodation is not provided, however the school will assist you with finding a suitable place. Chongqing is an incredibly cheap city; Where you'll find a very nice furnished place for a little over 1000RMB /month. With 2 months deposit, you'll only need around 4000RMB to move to Chongqing.

The salary offered includes various benefits. The base salary is 8000RMB per month (7000RMB for your probationary first month), plus 1000RMB per month housing allowance plus 500RMB per month (Paid monthly) as a flight allowance. Up to a total of 9500RMB per month competing with top-end cities such as Guangzhou or Shenzhen but without the cost. Chongqing is incredibly cheap in comparison where you will rarely spend more than 1RMB on the bus fare, or 5RMB for dinner.

Classes are 40 minutes each and full teaching resources, books and materials are provided for your classes. Each class includes a teaching assistant fluent in English to help with communication.

If you're in China already and do not posses a residents/Working visa, you will be required to travel to Hong Kong at your own expense to finalise the paper-work for your visa should you wish to hold a working visa.

If you are overseas, this opportunity will help you process a working visa before you arrive.
