Full-time job in Ilsan
Our school has been located in Ilsan for more than 15 years. We not only teach English but also enrich our students learning with various experiences. Through active learning, we take students on field trips to parks, galleries, and museums, helping them gain a wide range of background knowledge. Our focus is on improving students English speaking fluency, rather than emphasizing writing accuracy, as we primarily work with early childhood students.
We offer a well organized, integrated curriculum that makes lessons both fun and effective. Currently, we have a team of 12 dedicated professionals, including 6 native English instructors. Each native English instructor is paired with a Korean teacher for support, allowing instructors to concentrate fully on teaching. We are seeking enthusiastic candidates with a genuine interest in early childhood education.
Teachers are responsible for one kindergarten classroom of 5 , 6 , or 7 year olds from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM daily, with a 45 minute lunch break and a 20 minute coffee break. Afterward, teachers will teach after school or elementary classes until 6:00 PM. Class preparation time is included in working hours, and any overtime is compensated at 20,000 KRW per hour. We are currently hiring for March 2025, or earlier.
Requirements:
Experience teaching children
A four year bachelor s degree in any field
Native English speaker from the USA, Canada, Australia, the UK, New Zealand, or South Africa
Fluent in English
A love for kids, a positive attitude, and a flexible mindset
A creative approach to problem solving and getting the best out of students

Compensation:
Salary: 3,000,000 KRW 3,300,000 KRW per month increases by 100,000 150,000 KRW after the first year
Housing and key money upto 10million won provided rent is deducted from salary, typically between 450,000 650,000 KRW per month, depending on the apartment you choose
50 contribution towards health insurance and pension
One month severance pay at the end of the contract
15 days paid vacation in addition to Korean national holidays
One way airline ticket provided if the teacher is coming from overseas

As a native instructor, I ve been working at Elin for almost four years. We have a relatively light workload for a private academy, and the curriculum is pre made for us. However, we have the flexibility to adapt our teaching style to get the best out of our students. In our kindergarten classes, the maximum number of students per class is 12, which allows us to provide a high quality experience. I genuinely enjoy working here, and we have a great support system with our co teachers and director.
